Bedtime Stories - Poem by Madison Preston

Small footsteps marching
Little hands praying
Big smile asking
For Cinderella before bed
Little head laying
Her mother's eyes closing
My ears listening
As she drifted away
I went sneaking
The floor went creaking
she went whispering
'I love you daddy' in the night.
