Before Night Turns To Dawn Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Before Night Turns To Dawn

Rating: 5.0

Right now as we slowly rotate to heavens accord
I find peace within your stare
wise words that go unspoken
as I yearn to hear more
folklore praised
as once more I find myself daydreaming in your stare
igniting the passions that flutter with each beat of my heart
again I say
just once more before night turns to dawn
let me see them reflect the beauty of each fairytale I've heard
since the Saturdays of my youth sing again about the statusphere of your touch as the world drifts asleep to the sound of your tune
sing to me again about how you've captured the stars in your eyes
