O so far over land and the sea
O so far my love, so far from me
I want you with me; I need you close
I want you with me so that I can boast

You won my heart with just one hug
In your loving embrace I feel so snug
The world hasn't seen a fairer face
The beauty of which can't ever be replaced

My love for you grows more each day
Our strong bond of union never will fray
You close to me is all I need
For you close to me I do plead

To kiss your lips and feel your skin
If I could do that now, I would win
Take one step and I will too
And before we know it I'll be with you.
