Beggar Man - Poem by michael warburton

Do not beg from me my friend
It is I who should beg from you
Gold and silver is all i have
Love, is the gift from you.

This worthless husk of poor mankind
That stands in front of you
Is humbled by your rags and sores
As love comes shining through.
