Beggers Poem by Alexander Foald

Beggers

Time will not stop for me
And I will die in my conscious
They will forget about who I am
But you will always be in my heart

One night can take all my dreams away
Pour down the rain where it shouldn’t be
Such a long waiting for someone that never come
But I will waste more if you promise me

Tomorrows don’t know me
Yesterdays only recognize my face
Today is the best thing left in my pocket
And a picture of you inside the wallet

I’m such a fool to ever understand you
As the wind only blows on its own
My heart desires to speak up its feeling
But the mouth is silenced by your beauty
