Behind The Crimson Door Poem by Allyson Gordon

Behind The Crimson Door

Your heart under lock and key
Not allowing anyone in
Your soul hidden away
Holding all your sins

Your lifeless eyes
Holding all the pain
The pain that runs in your blood
The blood that you drain

Keep your fears inside
The guilt and shame you bare
Rips your heart apart
Why doesn’t anyone care?

Respect and trust fades away
Nothing matters anymore
So step out of the light
To hide behind the crimson door
