Behind The Mask
In the midst of the night, while the whole Earth sleeps.
The heart of this girl still weeps in its wake.
The sound of the sobs, cutting through the silence of the night.
The sound of despair will stop only with the light.
For when the morning comes, a little smile will show,
Putting the mask of happiness to hide the face of sorrow.
The sound of the sobes and despair, the secret tears that we shed and wet our pillows and again showing a bright face during the day............ very nicely written about the internal pain about which we dont talk loud to others......... thank you for the emotions and the feelings expressed in this poem. tony

The heart of this girl still weeps in its wake. putting the mask of happiness......... experiences of life......... sad, ...experiences......... but there is always a dawn after a midnight where you can really smile without a mask........ hope and pray for it. thank you dear poetess. tony
