'Behind The Scenes' Poem by Lindemberg Pereira da Silva

'Behind The Scenes'

Rating: 5.0

It's a kind of a play
I've been living for a long in that way.
I've faked a smile to hide
a tear which flows inside my heart,
Since my world has fallen apart.

I make my show
I look for applauses
You drive me up the wall
But I only care for the bows.
When the curtains are down,
I'm lost in myself all around.
In front of the public, I'm an artist
I play very good with your love.
Behind the scenes
I am one more fool
Because of my fear of falling in love with you.

Behind the scenes
I'm just someone like anyone else
With a broken heart
With a hurted pride
With my wings not being able to spread.
Behind the scenes
I'm dying inner day by day
'cause I dream of you on my way
Please..say that you will stay...

I really liked the message in this one Lindemberg. It's very beautiful in a bittersweet way.
