Beholder Of The Storms



mesmerized
dazed
by the radiance
the alluring
inviting beauty
of the monster
the beholder
of the storms
of the fire
she plunges forward
into the bottomless pit
fully aware
but still hoping
forgetting
for a single second
the second that ended it all
forgetting
for a second
that the blazing pit
indeed
has no end
