Assert ones self for yourself,
A heartfelt greeting for you and me,
Climbing up not falling down,
A step further to recovery.

Stamp down those gremlins from within,
Don't give up, don't let them win,
Out of here sooner than you think,
Into the sunshine quick as a wink.

A pact with a friend not to be broken,
From just a few words quietly spoken,
Seeing the light through the trees,
We'll get out of this with great ease.

Never going back, keeping on track,
Without these fears on our back,
Starting again, starting anew,
All our dreams will come true
