Believe Poem by Jason Summers

Believe

Rating: 2.1

If you think of pain which is extreme
This poem is worse than any you dream.
There was a man who loved everyone and Him
Who spared our lives to carry no sin.
His name was Jesus, not a strong, but powerful man,
And for those who believed would truly understand.
He fought for his people, much less than himself,
For peace, freedom, and internal wealth.
When Jesus took the crusifiction at hand,
He spoke, 'Lord forgive them, they do not understand
Grant those whose faith they have given,
And release their souls to go to heaven.'
Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men,
Will only cause the love cycle to begin.
