Bells Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Bells

In the distance – bells ringing
How taut – how
Altered by the wind
Yet more romantic!

The day be just begun
The week be just begin
Yet ring the bells.
The church bells romantic

Ah! we these moments need
In our lives – not all the time
But oftentimes
To hear
To joy
The altered notes
Majestic wind
inaudible
In bells romantic!
