Beneath Delicate Feet Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Beneath Delicate Feet

Rating: 5.0

The fear is terrible
And my heart is weak
When I see you distressed
Or painfully displeased
With the fading smile
Of a withered rose.

God creates Goddesses
For men to adore,
But it is such a cruel joke
To live life at their feet
With absolutely no hope
Of making them happy!

I am happy when I'm unhappy, that's my comfort zone...strange isn't it?

unhappiness likes company... too. i like to blend my happiness into the happiness of another. everytime i find myself in the presence of unhappiness, i excuse mysef... before i'm affected & infected. 'cause if i'm feeling poetically well, ain't no need to mess up everything good; i'm poetically feelin'. i hope u r poetically happy 4 the rest of your poetic life.

Happiness Uriah, does not come compacted, it comes in tiny morsels such as this lament to worshipping from afar. What I love about writing on the net is, I feel so close, just a click away from the minds of my friends and the odd lover! lol Grinning at you. Love the poem. Love in the moment. Tai
