Beneath My Pillow Poem by Dan Brown

Beneath My Pillow

Beneath my pillow lay my fears.
Beneath my pillow lay my teeth.
Beneath my pillow is where I hide
when it is solace that I seek.

Beneath my pillow is a different world.
Beneath my pillow is peace.
Beneath my pillow is where I hide
when the arguments never cease.

Beneath my pillow is dark.
Beneath my pillow is cool.
Beneath my pillow is where I hide
like an incognizant fool.

Beneath my pillow I escape from all my troubles.
Beneath my pillow I’m free.
Beneath my pillow is where I hide
when its darkness I want to see.
