Beneath The Rose Poem by Stan Rodriguez

Beneath The Rose

I sometimes look past the sea
toward countries whose names
are still unknown to me…

But I fly there on the wings of hope
for yet another day with you.

I whisper in the stars at night
and sleep within God's holy light

The moon he smiles as if he knows
where love is found beneath the rose

Encompassed in this good earth-still
are dreams of us that we made real

Such happiness does fill my heart
and I pray God—we will never part.

A great masterpiece. A coupler by a genius swordsmith.
