Bent Knees Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Bent Knees

Dropping into crystal oceans,
Bluened by sorrow's grief, and falling alone,
Many teardrops not being noticed by anyone,
Except the one I used to know.
Standing erect while bending,
Knees hold onto prayers of loneliness.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Watering Yesterday

Watering life with tears of sadness,
turning away from the years,
pining for yesterday.
Knowing it's never going to return again,
and life must end.
