Best Creation Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Best Creation

Best creation

Don’t give me example: “it is like”
I can see; read the heart
Those four gates, and a pump
I see them both as bulge
On the chest, cheeks and butt

I see them as I do
Spring, summertime
Blossoms, flowers, fruits ripe.

Don’t tell me, I’m aware
You wrote words with love, care.

We owe him ‘thank you’, you and I
To great composer; master Mike
He used them as lyrics, gave them life.

And sang the birdy voice; what was name?

You cried when you heard, as did God.
From joy, when man came; read Koran.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Q is a program on CBC radio. I heard of a poet crying from joy and gratefulness. She heard her poem in a well-received humanitarian song.
