THE LAST REMNANT OF SANITY BIDS YOU ADIEU
(7/11/2007 10:50:00 AM) |
Jim, I don't know how long you've been at Poemhunter, but I'm so glad you're here. We get a lot of fluff here, so, when a real poet comes along...we other real poets get really excited. Welcome aboard.
This is a wonderfully philosophic piece. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

the words on between two instants. great words
I think this way. we are here for such a short time
why not enjoy the ride. I have many more to post
as I find a new love in poetry. and meeting and
knowing there are others like me.

kudos on: Your poem
and the poem... ah, the poem is not always the same
but flows incessantly with new meanings, new Revelations,
like the flickering of stars in the Milky Way,

lush beautiful images
giving strength
to a profound meditation
on time and necessity
the human heart stuck
in loneliness yet
longing for that touch
to destroy all distance
and finally rest
in a single kiss
a fine poem
