Between You And I Poem by Violetta Violetta

Between You And I

Rating: 5.0

Love's strange endings
Have forced new beginnings on me again
Knowing this time,
There's no going back
To all that pointless romance
Perchance...

Still, I wonder sometimes
Would I rather not have met you, ever
Than now live with the pain
Of your distant existence
Resistance...

And the always,
Eventually,
Unrequited love
between you and I
for Eternity

Sometimes you can't help but cry over spilled milk. Very well written and subtle. those who have experienced Love's strange ending, will never be the same again until love calls again.
