Beware Ostensible Professed Purposes Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Beware Ostensible Professed Purposes

perhaps sometimes
often a little good
will goes a long way

let us deal in facts
not pretexts excuses
blessings were not given

blessings are often not given
or blessings are seldom given
in today's materialistic society

pretexts
half truths
fabrications

forget cloaked truths
let us cut to the chase
dispense with strategies

societies prosper in transparent harmony
in empress Garden for Cultivating Harmony
Marble Boat moored symbolizes dishonesty
