Beyond Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

Beyond

Devouring my body
With ravages of his
Passion, he seems to
Possess me.

I let him be happy
With this illusion.
And he plunders me,
Pillages me…
In his captivity.

Beyond the realms
Of this ravaged body,
My mind and heart
Wander soul-free
Looking for you
My Beloved.

In the eternal quest
For their true love’s
Ultimate abode in You.

Beyond Death.
Beyond Destiny.
Beyond Salvation.
Beyond Reincarnation.
Beyond the endless
Possibilities of
The after-life.

Poorna-Viraam.
Full-Stop.
My world begins
And stops with you.

The End.

Mere To Giridhar Gopal
Doosro Na Koi…
