Beyond My Bedroom Walls Poem by Modupeola Williams

Beyond My Bedroom Walls

Rating: 5.0

I travelled to the distant lands
Beyond my bedroom walls
Lands were magic sings and weaves
To a silent dance it calls

Antaris, Atolia, Damar
I yearn for the sands of Dune
The day I scale the shifting crests
Can come not at all too soon

I've felt the dragon's breath
Felt the blazing fire
Weathered the storms of the seas
Walked through the foggy mire

Today I faught the villains
Foiled their wicked plans
Raised high the mighty swords of old
United Scottish clans

I danced with Mr. Darcy
He stole my beating heart
Alas I couldn't help but fall
He had me from the start

Come, come along with me
Perhaps we'll fly to Mars
Discover in our high tech Craft
Life among the stars

Indeed i wonder at all the mysteries
That are to unfold
Unfold the journey
On these bound pages of gold
