Beyond Ridge
red shouldered black birds
came back with multitudes
flaunting colors with attitudes
chasing grasshoppers; moths
along my path to very remote
mud splattering on my boots
flowers will bloom in few days
if heaven continue its loving rays
lakes are filled up to brim, great
fishes will be happy, algae growth
so as turtles, meals a crawl away
alligators haven't reach this way
