Bi Polar Powered Looking Glass Poem by Lance Carthen

Bi Polar Powered Looking Glass

Roses are dead
Violets are too
Im the death in the mirror
Staring back at you
I am the collection of refections of the many faces you made
Screaming, sadness, anger
To me your face is no stranger
Trapped in the depths of your troubled soul
You were always trying to let the good in you take control
Eventaully as the pain grew thick
I rose slowly without a sound or a tick
Waiting cautiousely when I could arise
And show the whole world your surprise
The feelings you kept inside
Deeply stacked away with in your heart shaped knife
Now we both knew it was only a matter of time
Before the face came off and revealed the stains of the mind
Fifteen souls would be lost that night
He gave himself up freely without a fight
Laughing all the way with blood on his face
He told me to do it Im not insane
Laughing because to blame it on someone else would be fake
He said it was his image in the mirror that taught him to hate
Roses are dead
Violets are too
Who's really to blame
Me or you?
