Bird Flight

Bird goes down
When wings rise
Bird goes up
When wings go down.

Bird moves forward
With a wavy motion
Flight of the bird's
Delight to watch.

Man always dreamed
To fly like a bird
A plane or a 'copter
Still not the same.

Man can glide
Dropping from a height
Without some freedom
It's still not same.

Bird can take off from
Land, water, or bough
Bird can land
With precision on a wire.

Bird soars high
With beauty and grace
Flapping its wings
And gliding along.

.......evokes a kind of jealousy from these birds, since it gives a great description of how a bird floats in the sky.....man can never acquire perfectness, bcoz precision rests in the hands of almighty, beautiful message delivered sir! ... (Report) Reply

Anything connected with birds is a pleasure. Reading about them, watching them either in rest or in flight, listening to their twitter and song... all give joy! Yes, with beauty and grace, they soar into the skies.... and we jealously watch their aerial feats! A fine write, sir! ! (Report) Reply

True the beauty if a bird in flight...but I could not help but attach your words to the tragedy of the missing airplane from Malaysia....it's winged flight....To where? ? ? That they land somewhere safe, perhaps in th very hand of God...I pray in Peace.....You poem, thought provoking. (Report) Reply
