Birdy Poem by Kyndle Harper

Birdy

Rating: 5.0

In she flies and out she goes

The snow is white while she still glows

But when the summer comes she is not silent

But flapping and chirping without defiance.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I chose to write a poem like this because one day during winter I was playing in the snow and I saw a little bird just sitting there waiting for its flock to come back for her. The next summer I saw that same little bird and she was with her flock flapping and chirping all happy.
