Birth Poem by Phil Soar

Birth

A horse has got four legs to run
A fish has gills to breathe
A cow makes milk to fill the teats
That dangle underneath
A duck has special Eider down
To stop it getting wet
An elephant has brains they say
That won't let it forget
But by far the greatest asset
That god gave to this earth
Is a special source of ecstacy
The beauty that is birth
