Bitter Words
Bitter words on my tongue
Only making my soul numb
I tried to let you understand
That all I wanted was your hand
To try and help me through
But my actions were too much for you
So instead you let me go
Even knowing all you know
And I just kept on walking away
Because here is not where I was meant to stay.
