Black And White Poem by Shadow Girl

Why does everything have to be
black or white-
they talk about shades of grey
in between
but what about the other colours of
nature
why are we not free
to explore them
let them carry us on the wind
to wherever the gusts may blow
Why must we, should we
jump off that rainbow
at the first sign
of change
Why must we hurt the ones
that care about us the
most
and why must the
wise
overthink things
instead of going
with the
flow
and the blow
and seeing
what develops
without expectations
fear
without jumping boat
and leaving
confusion and loss
to those
we leave
behind.
