Black Bond Poem by udoh etido

Black Bond

Free from the peril of home;
mind and body forever grow tall;
Half a boy no more;
sword in hand at war.

Creepy beings behind the wall;
let the king answer the alter call;
Men of blood and hate;
guard the realm with utmost faith.

A day of misery;
how did we all miss it? ;
Moon light flows through our swords;
the sky shall become blurred with blood.

A night crawler;
defies divine orders;
Snows of blood;
melt away with wrath.

Brave we stand;
for good of the King's hand;
Men behind the wall;
ready your fierce swords.

Ghost blood;
decipher the bond;
Fresh pale skin;
a strong martyr's sin.

Owls in the night;
peer through our eyes;
A dark cloud rises;
our eyes have seen the darkness.

Men behind the wall;
listen to the King's call.

Men behind the wall;
fight on with great awe.
