Black Door Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Black Door

Read it well and learn from it with your own mind,
For your nose-ring, your ear-rings and your ornaments are here with me;
But your beautiful jewels are still on your neck.

I don't know who you are but,
As long as you love me i will keep on living;
I don't know what you do but,
As long as you love me i will keep on writing;
And like lovers sitting facing each other,
For the Black Door is still opened.
