Black Rose In Darkness Poem by Zevanda Borjon

Black Rose In Darkness

Glistening in the sun
drowning in the rain
growing thorns around her bod
in hope
s she wont be picked in vain

barbed by the past
and shackled to the ground
screaming out in rage
but no one hears a sound

the wind whisps around her
in attemps to carry her away
though stranded in her life
she has no choice but to stay

she's made her bed of thorns
so no one will grow near
her ambition turns to lolliness
then quickly turns to tears

how she longs for another
a companion of her own
though tradgety and lust
have left her all alone

she's a black rose in darkness
forever left unseen
now her beauty's lost forever
only left to a dream

with no one to cal her own
she weeps her unheard song
crying out to the heavens
wondering what she did wrong

enchanted by her thoughts
and the light of a new day
hoping that for once
the wind would change its way

to crry her to a garden
bringing her hope once more
one wgere sunshines
and agony doesn't pour

there she may rest
and given time to bloom
but night falls again
and now is too soon

so she falls back into darkness
forever left unseen
now her beauty's lost forever
only left to a dream
