#blacklivesmatter Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

#blacklivesmatter

Slavery was justified when individuals were denied
Images of these politics played through segregation
Sick of brutality, noise would soon gather and rise
The nowhere situation brought dauntless salvation
The truth is no mystery, highlightened by that history
The lives of blacks systematically and institutionally,
Have never been valued, here are the key factors
That's essential as to why black lives matter
