Blame Poetry

Words of love and praise untold
Poetry reigns and dreams unfold
Hope is shattered all too soon
We waved goodbye beneath the moon
With a grain of sand in my hand
I look at the sea and see the land
The world is twisted for you and me
Was it all because of poetry
