' ' ' ' ' Blank Page(For Byran)

Rating: 2.7

As I type
letters stick to my fingertips.

I peel them off
like fingertips

trying to stick them
down on the page

keep them
in their place

using only the old Churchillian
blood sweat & tears

but they escape
their prison of words

float out of the open
window

or swallowed by
a yawining cat

or throw themselves
upon the open fire

leaving me
with what

I started
with

this blank
page.
