Bleak Inner Sorrow Touched By Pride Poem by Garrett Richardson

Bleak Inner Sorrow Touched By Pride

Taking all and giving
Whatever my pride will let me
I walk alone
But with my head held high
Never felt that I belonged
But I'll fight for the right
That right to be wrong

Seeing clear of what I've done
I refuse to let things go
Not once can I admit I am wrong
But seeing clear of what's at stake
And the things I have to change
I just hope it's not to late
I need a chance to end this pain
