Bleeding Whisper Poem by Carrie Sprouse

Bleeding Whisper

bleeding
hardly breathing
cold
almost freezing

heartbeat
slowly fading
tear rate
fataly lost

death
getting closer
life
almost over

vision
becoming blurry
pain
losing touch

air
escapes me
voices
only whisper

Bleeding Whisper is an interesting combination getting the imagination off to a good start and exciting curiosity. I like the first stanza with the three rhyming words lending new interpretation to each other. “Tear rate, fataly lost” is original.
