Blessed Poem by Shirley Your Speaker Smith

Blessed

Blessed are the greedy
For they take everything

Blessed are the ambitious
For they aim high

Blessed are the sneaky
For they live close to the ground

Blessed are the generous
For they always have enough

Blessed are the critical
for they never run out of material

Blessed are the rich
For they lack only what money cannot buy

Blessed are those who love
For they live a life of love

Blessed are those who gossip
For they always have a target

Blessed are the forgetful
For they do not remember

Blessed are the selfish
For they only think of themselves

Blessed are the short sighted
For they only see their needs

Blessed are the bullies
For they lack self love

Blessed are the impossible
For they are lonely

Blessed are the lazy
For others do all the work

Blessed are the talkative
For others stop listening

Blessed are the tall
For they see clearly

Blessed are the big hearted
For they give with pleasure

Blessed are the cranky
For people will leave them alone

Blessed are the foolish
For they do not know they are foolish

Blessed are the smart
For they see the problem they created

Blessed are the creative
For they never lack imagination
