Blind Faith - 1 Poem by Jhaggat Bhaggat

Blind Faith - 1

The beauty in the eyes,
That I see each day,
Has grown up to my heart,
Where images of you stay.

Never did I imagine this picture,
As you curled your lash,
To leave me in a state too rare,
Much to satisfy the meager hash.

I have denied all existence,
To ponder over your entity,
For a while you had me blaspheming,
Now I shall prolong this sanctity.

Perhaps the power you bestowed,
Has taken over my insignificant mind,
This ability to fathom,
Has left me choices too unkind.

There is no exit path to this,
I am here to stay forever,
To forever sing divine chants,
That will serve my hereafter.

What guarantee has god given me,
To ascertain my youth,
He presented me phenomena,
That never did soothe.

How can I believe in a book,
Is it too not just written?
Much to my disdain,
It is a verdict already given.

For I have spoken the truth,
Now you shall sacrifice me,
You have made me pure,
And I do not want Him to see.
