Blind Guides Poem by Vincent Feliciano

Blind Guides

To them the hours stand still
between the minutes of the day
but to us the shadows dance
across the quivering lips that pray

As masters of light and truth
they rise to resist the science
of the new age or the iron fist
of blind men guided by defiance
