Blinding Beauty Poem by Joyce Rugg

Blinding Beauty

Hello, hello, remember me
I’m everything you can’t control
My demise you’ll never see
Far away from your grasping hold

Your poison powerless against
Why don’t you realize?
I’m not who you want me to be
But you’ll never make me change

In the dark forever
Now even shadows seem light
Your weight is gone, you’ll never
Win: I won’t drown with you

'I won't drown with you.' A very bold statement and a lovely conclusion. Great work.

hiding is not a bad thing but to notice it is a different story...one which you told very well...
