Blissful Ignorance. Poem by samuel nze

Blissful Ignorance.

Rating: 4.0

My mother would hiss
At a youth smoking indian hemp
These days I know not
What children are up to
She would curse the world
And preach with gusto
No one who suckled at my breast
Would touch that smelly stuff
She knows not what my brothers do
And she enjoys the ignorance
These ones who suckled at her breast
Could they really be doing what they are?
