Blissful Peace Poem by Vanessa Kaylee

Blissful Peace

It’s a beat so strong,
It’s a crime so wrong,
It builds you up,
Then it tears you down,
You’re wrapped so tight in your warm cocoon,
You never see day light,
Until you begin to bloom,
A flower so beautiful,
Emerges through dusk,
Morning dew,
Peaceful and blue,
Embraces the smell of musk,
In the afternoon butterflies flutter,
Their wings make the beat,
They whisper, “good day, ” in a mutter,
From high about rains down sleet,
Like tears from your eyes,
Comes hope from your heart,
Shine your light through all these lies,
Your beauty like a piece of art.
