Blood & Sweat
The powerful voices of humanity
of change
of peace
Created enough life to eternalize
even the voices of their enemies
their deeds
their Bull Connors
The blood of victors
absorbed the sweat of their oppressors
as well as thier hatred & violence
causing the droplets upon their brows
and the spit from their mouths
to glimmer like stars of constellations
eternal tools of navigation
of where we are going
of the path that I am on
Is it my blood
or my sweat
perhaps I am cold and uneffected
the vacant backdropp of space
or am I substance
What am I?
