Bloomed Flower Poem by Raken Marimuthu

Bloomed Flower

The sun did rise and I lisped the morning rays
My petals unfolded that I may enjoy the days
Pollens were ready the butterflies were missing
I wonder where they all went, keep me guessing
The warm blowing winds of time did mantle me
Shake me to shiver and quiver and did hurt my knee
It is shivering cold at night when I am lonely
Me too, am comely and I need the warmth surely
Like the ebb of the tide my heart swoons to the pain
I recover when the flow is high with a mind for gain
For long have I stood with my heart open to my lover
Far sight was dim and the haze was heavy with shower
What have I done that I am forbidden by nature
To lisp the breeze, swap the seasons with spritely gesture
When winter comes, spring will also come soon
I shall wait for I know I shall see the full moon
My bosom will not go in vain to hug my man
For the day will sure come for me to have my man
