Blue Mondays Poem by David Harris

Blue Mondays

Rating: 5.0

Blue Mondays,
since my baby went away.
Blue Mondays,
seem to stretch into everyday.

I don’t know why it happened,
or what went wrong.
All I know is that she left me,
and blue Mondays came along.

I woke up feeling fine,
then found that baby of mine,
left on the early train heading east.
That’s when it happened, and the blue Mondays came.

Now all you hear me singing is blue Mondays,
Oh, can that be.
Oh, blue Mondays,
why won’t you let me be.
Blue Mondays, go away and set me free.

Just great, sounds like an elvis song to me or The Mama's and The Papa's and some one else has a song, Rainy days and Mondays always get me down....Can't think who..Carly Simon? ? ? ....THis flows to me like a song which is why I'm referencing music...But then without my music, where would I be? ? ? Just more lost.....You never cease to give a good poem to us....thank you~~~~~~~~~marci.xo
