Bluebells - Poem by David Wood

Bluebells carpet the woodland floor
Packed so tightly that insects tip-toe
Softly and quietly between them.

Enjoyed this poem. I love this bit: Their magic weaves a pleasant spell
A sea of blue that meanders in the breeze
And floats delicately over the forest floor,

I wish I was there to view this sea of bluebells on the forest floor.

    Keep up the good work!

Spring rains, a blue carpet in the woods, insects playing game of love, a cold country where summer is awaited, is it a poem or a blue painting? Amazing description of a beautiful wood by a lovely poet Blue.....10 (Report) Reply

A beautiful poem that sings of the beauty of Nature and expresses great love for a delicate flower. Ah, Their time on earth far too short.

    It reminds me of

'For the woods are full of bluebells and the hedges full of bloom, ' by John Clare.

    Love your ink.

Nature now has all its beauty
To the fore before summer casts its
    Delicate bluebells making spring so
Their time on earth far too short.
