Boardwalk Of Yesterday Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Boardwalk Of Yesterday

Memories of yesterday at the seashore, walking along
the boardwalk, enjoying the smell of the salty ocean,
feeling the gentle heat touch my skin so tenderly,
energizing my spirit.
Walking down aisles of stores, a carnival-like
atmosphere bringing jovial happiness to a greater
degree inside.
Spiritually growing with every step past avenues and
familiar images and faces of relatives no longer
living here on earth.
