Bodies In The Snow Poem by Brooke Audino

Bodies In The Snow

Rating: 2.7

There we were,
in our little cottage.
Here we were,
together now.
There we go,
into another fight.
Here I go,
storming out the door.
Here you come,
and find me to hold me in your arms.
There it'll come,
the sadness in my heart will burst.
On our way,
to something only God can comprehend.
On my way,
to loving you from the point at which we stand.
There I lay,
in the snow where I will rest.
Here we lay,
where everyone will know we are here.
Bodies In The Snow
Cold and fragile...
Limp and lifeless...
Already passed...
Till your days come to a rest...
All of you be forever blessed...
That you will never have to rest...
Before your time has come...
