Bohemia Poem by Mykonos Poetry Club

Bohemia

I suddenly became electric,  transfixed by the music,
They danced around fire and hollered in verse,
It was an orchestra of the soul,
A raw howl from the devil's wicked jaws,
I was drowning, a Marshall of heavens gate.
Angelic cries spurred the flames higher and higher,
A broken hymnal from the heart of every man, woman and child.
The music stopped.
I had become a junkie to the veracious beat, and I bled out waiting for my next fix.
